Oregon State University

The Oldfield Jackman Team Award for Research in Pacific Whiting.  This award was presented to the research team of Haejung An, Ken Hilderbrand, Ed Kolbe, Michael Morrissey, Jae Park, Thomas Seymour, and Gil Sylvia in recognition of their research and transfer of technology in the Pacific whiting fishery.  September, 1996.

International Service Award (1999-2000) to recognize exemplary, on-going contributions of OSU faculty and staff to the internationalization of the university by enhancing student, faculty, and staff awareness and participation in international education, research, and related activities.  September 18, 2000.

 

Industry/Professional Societies

The Person of the Year Award (SeaFest/JAC Creative Foods).  This award was presented to recognize Jae Park's development of the least cost formulation resulting in million dollars of cost saving while achieving the consistent quality surimi seafood.  1988.

 

Certificate of Appreciation: Outgoing Executive Committee Member-at-Large. Presented in recognition of leadership, enthusiasm, and professionalism by the members of the Seafood Technology Division, IFT.  2000.

 

International

Appreciation Plaque.  This award was presented to recognize Jae Park's keynote lecture at the opening session of the annual meeting of The Korean Society of Fisheries Science (Busan, Korea).  1995.

 

Letter of Appreciation. This award was presented to recognize Jae Park¡¯s effort organizing a symposium, Surimi and Fish Mince Technology for the 11 World Congress of Food Science and technology (Seoul, Korea) held on April 26-30, 2001.

 

Appreciation Plaque.  This award was presented to recognize Jae Park's keynote lecture at the opening session of the annual meeting of The Korean Society of Animal Food Products (Gwang Joo, Korea). Nov 29, 2004.
